Terms of Service

Service: StoryPostingApi · Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. What the Service does

StoryPostingApi lets you connect your own TikTok account, build a narrated vertical video from a public Reddit story or your own text, and publish it to that account — immediately or at a time you choose — through the official TikTok Content Posting API. You keep full control: every video is previewed and published by an explicit action of yours in the interface.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be old enough to hold a TikTok account in your country and must be the owner of, or be authorized to act for, the TikTok account you connect. You are responsible for keeping your access to the Service secure.

3. Your content and your responsibilities

You own the content you publish and you are solely responsible for it. By using the Service you confirm that:

• you hold the necessary rights to everything you publish — the background footage you upload, the story text you narrate, and any music — and you credit sources where their licence requires it;
• you follow the rules of the platform a story comes from, including Reddit's terms, when you reuse its content;
• you label videos with a synthetic voice or other generated elements as AI-generated content, which the interface does by default;
• your content complies with TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Music Usage Confirmation;
• you correctly disclose branded or other commercial content using the disclosure controls provided in the interface;
• you will not use the Service for spam, impersonation, artificial engagement, misleading content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.

4. Acceptable use of the API

You may not use the Service to circumvent TikTok's rate limits, review process or platform rules, to operate accounts you do not control, or to attempt to access other users' data. We may suspend access that breaks these rules or that TikTok asks us to stop.

5. Authorization

Access to your TikTok account is granted through TikTok Login Kit and is limited to the scopes you approve. You may withdraw it at any time in TikTok under Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions; publishing then stops immediately.

6. Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. It depends on the TikTok API and may be limited or interrupted when that API changes or is unavailable. We may change or discontinue features, and will give notice of material changes to these terms on this page.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for lost reach or revenue, or for actions TikTok takes against your account as a result of content you chose to publish.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and disconnect your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
